How To Measure Correctly

Before you begin, make sure your shower walls are in their final state, whether they’re finished with tile or a tub surround.

1. Measure Opening Widths

1. Measure Opening Widths

Bottom, Center & Top Measurements

Use your tape measure to record the width at the bottom, center, and top of your shower opening—always measuring from the center of the curb.

Taking measurements at all three points helps identify any variations or out-of-square conditions.

Use Exact Opening Sizes

Simply enter the raw measurements. We'll handle all hardware deductions to ensure a perfect fit.

2. Measure Shower Height

2. Measure Shower Height

Determine Starting Point

Begin by placing your tape measure at the top of the threshold (floor) or tub deck—this will be your base reference for height.Measure Straight UpMeasure vertically to the height you want your shower door to reach, making sure the tape stays straight for an accurate reading.

Select Your Preferred Height

Record your measurement and choose the height that best fits your space. Common shower door heights are 72", 76", and 80", but custom heights are also acceptable.

Measuring & Planning (6)
Measurements should be as accurate as possible — ideally within ⅛ inch (3mm). We apply standard hardware deductions automatically, so enter your raw opening dimensions. The more accurate your measurements, the better the fit of your final product.
Measure the width at the bottom, center, and top of your shower opening — always from the center of the curb or threshold. For height, start from the top of the threshold (floor or tub deck) to your desired door height.
Always measure after tiling and after the tub surround is installed. The shower walls should be in their final state before you take measurements, so all surfaces are complete and settled.
Enter your raw opening measurements. We handle all hardware deductions automatically in production to ensure a perfect fit. Do not subtract anything yourself.
Custom glass orders are cut to your exact specifications and cannot be resized after production. If you submit incorrect measurements, a remake will be required at additional cost. We strongly recommend double-checking all dimensions before placing your order.
Yes — each product page includes a measurement diagram specific to that layout. You can also refer to the "How to Measure Correctly" guide above for step-by-step instructions with photos.
DIY Installation (5)
Yes — most of our customers are first-time installers. Each order includes detailed installation instructions, and we have video guides available on our website. If you can drill into tile and use a level, you can install our products.
You'll need a drill with a masonry/tile bit, level, tape measure, pencil, silicone sealant, and a helper for lifting the glass panels. All hardware (screws, anchors, brackets) is included with your order.
Yes, but we recommend having at least one other person to help handle and position the glass panels safely. The glass can be heavy, and having a second set of hands makes the process much easier and safer.
We recommend hiring a professional if your walls are uneven or out-of-square (more than ½ inch variance), if you are not comfortable drilling into tile, or if you have an unusually large or complex configuration.
